Who doesn’t love to sing? We were made to do it or it wouldn’t feel so damn good. At the local karaoke hotspot, you can get your groove on to the latest radio hits or rock with those Old Skool classics we all know and love.

   Over the past few years, I have evolved from that painfully shy girl sitting in the corner to a karaoke “superstar.” That’s right, I admit it… “My name is Frankie and I am a karaoke addict.” But I’m not looking for a cure! I call it splendid fun. Karaoke makes me feel free, light, and well…happy. I love watching people jump out of their seat when they hear the beat of their favorite karaoke tune. In the space of a two-minute song, we become connected. So if the beat is bumpin’, we have to dance and if the chorus is groovin’, we have to sing along. That’s just the way it works.

   The best part about karaoke is that is doesn’t discriminate. Don’t have a great singing voice? It doesn’t really matter because the whole joint will sing your song with you. As long as you have fun, others are more than willing to have fun with you!

   As your spunky KJ, my goal is to get everyone boppin’ their head. I will encourage singers and dancers to show their stuff. And if I get a chance to rock the mic, you better put on your dancing shoes. Don’t be ashamed to admit you feel the need to shake your groove thang when you hear me sing, “cuz my devastating beats I know you will like!”
